Dear lina-ss
HI, I'm a developer about Dual Screen.

if you want to show an activity on dual screen, you should be using an intent. ("Using secondary screens")
https://developer.android.com/preview/features/foldables

Thank you

See, I have some different tricks which will be fine to use it. So if you want to expand your applications then you will use toshiba device then you will do that easily. If anyone used it or faced any type of issue, from browsing toshiba error 0xc0000185, you will get the proper solutions. I hope that will be fine for you all.

Re:How to expand application display on to other screen?

Dear HongYeol,

Could you please elaborate on how to expand an application to cover both screens at one time? I am trying to look for this info in the foldables section but I do not see it.

Do you mean this part?

val options = ActivityOptions.makeBasic()
options.launchDisplayId = targetDisplay.displayId
startActivity(intent, options.toBundle())

Is there a way to make your app show the "Wide View" button from the LG second screen popup?

Thank you!

Dear SirataXero
Yes, it's right. Use launchDisplayId and startActivity.

The target for Wide View Mode cannot be determined by the user.
Wide Mode has made it possible for us to use only a limited number of apps.
The Wide Mode in the Popup will only be seen while the target app is running.

Thank you.
